How To Install GBA4iOS 2.1 iOS 9 & 8.4.1 + Games Without Jailbreak GBA/GBC

If you’re a Game Boy Advance fan like I am then you’ll be happy to know you can now download the GBA4iOS Emulator on any iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch running iOS 9 without jailbreak. We’ve shown you how to install GBA4iOS on all reiterations of iOS 8 and now this time we’ll show you how to install it on the latest iOS 9. Although this process includes a few more steps, I assure you it’s worth every bit of it.

So if you’re ready for so retro gaming the simple step-by-step instructions are below.

iOS 9 & HiPStore

Step 1. Open Safari and visit iOSEmulatorSpot.com > scroll down and tap “Free Apps” > scroll down until you see “HiPStore.”

Step 2. Tap the install button, wait a couple seconds, tap install, and back out. It will take a couple of seconds for HiPStore to install due to the slow servers.

Step 3. Once the HiPStore is done, hold your horses, and don’t open it up.

Step 4. Head into the Settings App > General > Profiles > Search for the HiPStore profile and tap on it. Tap trust and one more time tap trust when you’re prompted.

Step 5. Back out of the Settings App and open up HiPStore (select your language.)

Step 6. Now that HiPStore is open, tap on the magnifying glass on the upper right-hand corner and search for “GBA4iOS.”

Step 7. When you find it tap it and tap download on the upper right.

Optional: If you want to track the app downloading progress head home and tap on the tab on the upper left. Tap on My Apps and downloading you should see the apps downloading progress.

Step 8. When the app is done downloading you’ll be prompted to install GBA4iOS, tap install.

Step 9. Back out of HiPStore and GBA4iOS should be installed.

Step 10. Launch the app!

Step 11. With GBA4iOS app open, tap on the magnifying glass on the upper right-hand corner.

Step 12. In the google search typ “LoveRoms GBA,” tap on the first site in the search.

Step 13. Search for your favorite GBA games and select one. Tap the green download button, tap download again, and now you can save it to the GBA4iOS directory under any name you want.
