How To Downgrade iOS 8.4 To iOS 6.1.3 iPhone 4S + iPad 2 Without iTunes Or SHSH Blobs

Want to know how to downgrade your iPhone 4S, or iPad 2, running iOS 8.4 to iOS 6.1.3 (without SHSH blobs)? Well this is definitely where you parked your car! In this written tutorial I’ll be showing you how to downgrade any iPhone 4S on iOS 8.4 to iOS 6.1.3.

Get The Scoop

So If you’re one of the lucky ones reading this now grab your iPhone 4S, because the iPad 2 isn’t supported yet, now there’s a way to downgrade back to iOS 6.1.3 without SHSH blobs. This tool will only work on devices that have been on iOS 5.0.1, or possibly iOS 5.1.1; with that said, only the iPad 2 and the iPhone 4S are supported. How is it possible, and only for those two devices? Apple is still signing iOS 6.1.3 OTA update (blobs), and that is the reason this works for these two devices, so it won’t work with other devices, or iOS version.

Can Apple patch this exploit? No, because then devices on iOS 5.0.1 or iOS 5.1.1 would not be able to update via OTA.

Back Down To 6.1.3

Note: Make sure you have iTunes 12.0.1 installed if you don’t you’ll need to downgrade your current version. Also have WinSCP and OpenSSL installed to fix dependency issues with idevicerestore.

Step 1. Download All Files, extract the 4SDowngrade folder onto your desktop, and double check to see the customiOS6.1.3.ipsw is in the “idevicerestore for Windows” folder.

Step 2. Install WinSCP & Win32OpenSSL On your computer, SSH into your phone, and go to the <root> directory (Make sure to install OpenSSh on your iPhone 4S via Cydia.)

HOST: your IP
USER: root
PASSWORD: alpine

Step 3: Transfer “kloader” and “pwnediBSS” into the <root> directory of your phone.

Step 4: Open terminal in WinSCP & Run these commands:

Command 1: chmod +x kloader
Command 2: ./kloader pwnediBSS

Step 5: Wait until device turns off, or looks like it’s off. if needed Unplug and plug your device back in so the computer detects it in DFU mode.

Step 6: Open CMD (command prompt) and run it as an administrator. Run idevicerestore from CMD. MAKE SURE TO CD TO THE IDEVICERESTORE DIRECTORY

Command 1: cd C:/Users/Your Name/Desktop/4SDowngrade/idevicerestore for windows
Command 2: idevicerestore.exe -e customiOS6.1.3.ipsw

Note: Make sure your IPSW is in the same location as idevicerestore.exe as stated in the first step. Also, you need iTunes 12.0.1 to be installed.

Step 7: Enjoy iOS 6.

I’ve successfully downgraded from ios 9.0.2. After the process, ios 6 asked me to set up as a new phone or restore from iCloud/iTunes. I chose to set up as a new phone and I’ve lost all my data (I have iTunes backup). How can I restore my data without losing ios 6?

I meet a problem at the “Command 1: cd C:/Users/Your Name/Desktop/4SDowngrade/idevicerestore for windows
Command 2: idevicerestore.exe -e customiOS6.1.3.ipsw” part, it showed an Error of “Could not make sure this firmware is suitable for the current device. Refusing to continue” , can i know any solution for this?
