Sign out of iCloud and remove Find my iPhone from your device

Remove Touch ID or passcode on your device.

Back up all of your data in iTunes using a local backup.

Update to iOS 8.1.2 if you’re on 8.1.1 or 8.1 using iTunes.

Restore if you have updated already using the OTA settings.

Make sure you have administrator privileges on your Windows PC.
