How To Fix/Update Cydia Substrate On iOS 8.3 & Install Tweaks

TaiG 2.1.0 untether jailbreak update deb file comes with fixes for iOS 8.3 Cydia Substrate compatibility and it has popped up online. If your device is already jailbroken there’s no need for you to jailbreak your device again just download and install the deb file below manually.  After the jump you’ll find a written tutorial or the step-by-step guide.

Note: The deb file was released by TaiG. Most likely the team will be updating their jailbreak tool for iOS 8.3. Not only was Cydia Substrate was targeted, but getting stuck at 20% during the jailbreak process as well.

Step 1: Install iFile from Cydia

Step 2: Force quit Cydia

Step 3: On your iOS 8.3 device go to download link provided below

Step 4: Tap the TaiG 8.3 Untethered.deb download

Step 5: Select open in iFile

Step 6: Hit Install

Step 7: Reboot the device once the installation completes
