CarPlay iOS is a pretty cool Cydia tweak, which was originally made and offered on GetHub by Adam Bell. The tweak is literally selfexplanatory; essentially CarPlay iOS is a springbroad overlay that allows you to run the CarPlay interface directly on any jailbroken iPhone or iPad. CarPlay iOS replaces those pricey aftermarket head unit.
How To Get CarPlay iOS On Any Jailbroken Device
Step 1. Fire up Cydia and tap on Search
Step 2. In the Search Bar type CarPlay iOS
Step 3. Tap Install on the next page tap Confirm.
You’re done!
Although the appears as a recreation of the CarPlay interface, with everything being made to look identical to the official interface, it’s only available in French and only comes with two apps: the Music and Now Playing apps. As for functionality, many reports have come out saying that it is functional, but crashes when switching tabs in the Music app.
